Gallery of portraits,  limited edition and vintage photographs of Indigenous Australians

I have been visiting and photographing the Tiwi Indigenous Australian inhabitants of Bathurst and Melville Islands, 60 kilometres north of Darwin, since 1987. Two books have resulted from those visits, the latest "Portrait of a People" is available in my online bookshop.

New Book ! "a Portrait of Canberra and of Canberrans 1979 - 2012"

As you may know, Heide has been photographing Canberra for a very long time, in fact for 34 years. She has already published 4 books of photographs of Canberra (a total of 25,000 books, all of which have sold), but to honour the centenary of Canberra, she has published another. ‘A Portrait of Canberra and of Canberrans 1979-2013′ which was launched at the Canberra Museum and Galleries (CMAG), on London Circuit by Robyn Archer on 20 September 2012. It is a 220 page hard cover book, 270 x 250 mm, containing approx 230 black and white and colour images of landscapes and portraits, and will be available from all leading bookshops, and online. We have been very fortunate to have Canberra Airport as our sponsor and this has enabled us to produce an extremely high quality book which retails for under $50.
